BCFTA Summer Fruit Tree Pruning Workshops Winter fruit tree pruning is to maximize fruit production and to open up the tree to light and air for the coming burst of spring growth. Summer pruning is to manage the size and shape of the trees and exert some control over their enthusiasm! We'll have a morning and an afternoon workshop that will cover tool maintenance, disease and pest control information, and optimal pruning education.
